Wedding Unity Candles
Wedding Unity Candles or Wedding Pillar Candles are a part of the Ceremony and are use to show the "joining" of the Bride and Groom into a single unit or family. The Unity Candle also represent the two families sharing a common future. The Bride and Groom light the Unity Candle from two separate candles to show the coming together. The Unity Candle is placed on the Alter for everyone to view. Some couple request the parents of each family to light the candle to show Unity.
