Wedding Ring Pillows
Engagement and wedding rings are worn on the fourth finger on the left hand because it was believed in ancient Egypt, that the vein of love (vena amoris) lead straight to the heart from that finger. If you wish to have a ring bearer in your wedding, it is common to ask a young male member of the family. Generally, ring bearers are between 6-10 years old, with older boys being made ushers or groomsmen. If the real rings are placed on the pillow, they are often tacked on or secured in some way, to prevent them from being lost.
